Sandra van Laar
Sandra is a consultant and coach, whose work and research have
focused on individual growth and development across all age groups. She
has over 15 years’ of experience working with individuals, teams and
organisations to enhance personal and professional effectiveness and to
achieve higher satisfaction in the workplace. As a psychologist,
Sandra’s expertise is to guide others through processes of development
and change in attitude, behaviour and communication.
As a coach, Sandra incorporates her own experience and a variety of
evidence-based resources to assist clients to elaborate on their (inter)personal
strengths and managerial skills. She has developed training programmes
that strengthen managers’ ability to mentor or coach employees and
enable them to capitalise on their talents and skills. In addition, she
is a specialist in working with teams to develop effective collaboration
and communication.
Sandra holds a masters degree in Developmental Psychology and
Educational Science. She graduated from Leiden University in The
Netherlands in 1991. Sandra has worked and lived in The Netherlands and
in the United States before settling in the UK in 2007.
As a coach and consultant she has worked for different healthcare
organisations, academic institutions and international companies,
together with employees of The National Institutes of Health, Worldbank
(Washington DC), Ernst & Young, Procter & Gamble, ICAS and several
different government agencies within The Netherlands.
